We’ll have some grillables on deck at North Boulder Park, but bring a side or dessert if you’re feeling generous . Anyone who brings a dish will get an extra raffle entry! Join us September 12–15 in Buffalo Creek for the Rocky Mountain Bikepacking Summit! This grassroots gathering is all about community, connection, and adventure on two wheels. RAR Front Range Gravel Camp
This event is open to anyone who identifies as a trans/non-binary/women rider.
What is Gravel Camp?
The Radical Adventure Riders Front Range Gravel Camp is a weekend centered around community, education, and gravel- and adventure-cycling skill-building for femme/trans/women/nonbinary riders.
Gravel Camp will take place August 15-17th at High Trails Outdoor Education Center in Florissant, CO. We will host 40 participants who identify as femme, trans, woman, and/or non-binary with priority registration for riders who are black, indigenous, or other people of color. It’s our goal to make this a low-cost event for all riders and provide resources to remove any financial barriers.
Lodging and Logistics
We'll be on 6000+ acres of beautiful mountain landscapes staying in summer-camp cabins with showers and gathering space. Throughout the event, meals will be provided in the community cafeteria.
Why Should You Join?
Gravel Camp isn’t just about bikes. It’s about making a space for nourishment, growth, and joy. Gravel Camp prioritizes the needs of queer and BIPOC folks, seeking to help our marginalized community members to not only persist but thrive. It is a space to reclaim our bodies and build roots in both nature and community.

“This ride will start us at Treehouse Cyclery, (right across from Coffee Ride) where we will be having a mid day coffee. We will slow roll through town catching any stragglers that may come from the club house on our way up to the Boulder Creek Path! We will follow that up to Fourmile Canyon Dr to Logan Mill Rd, touch down on Sugarloaf for a second to hop back dirt over to Switzerland Trail! We will all re-group at the Chimney before descending down to the Gold Hill Store. We’ll take our time hanging and eating snack with friends before taking Sunshine Canyon back to town! Once we make it back to Treehouse we will be met with pizzas and great tunes. We will spend the rest of the evening hanging out with friends to cap off the last stop of the Down By The Creek x Rapha tour! We couldn’t have done with without each and every one of you and am so thankful for the amazing people I’ve met along the way!

Gold Hill Summer Campout
We’re loading up our bikes for an overnight bikepacking trip to Gold Hill—with big climbs, steep descents, chunky gravel, and a little singletrack spice on the way back. This one’s self-supported and not beginner-friendly aka you’ll need to carry all your own gear, food, and camping setup. We’ll bring a few snacks + drinks to share at camp. Expect type-2 fun on the way up, good hangs under the stars, and a rowdy route back to town. Helmets, lights, and bikepacking setups required.

Sklar Farmers Market Ride
Join us and Adam Sklar (@sklarbikes) for a mellow morning spin and farmers market hang. We’ll roll from Treehouse for a quick Chapman climb and Flagstaff descent, finishing at the Boulder Farmers Market for snacks and sunshine.
This is a mixed-surface social ride—expect some climbing, some descending, good conversation, and fresh local goods at the end. No drops, just good vibes.

2025 Swift Campout
Join Treehouse Cyclery and thousands of adventurous spirits around the world, as we sleep under the starts with our bikes and celebrate the 11th annual Swift Campout.
The mixed-terrain route takes you through downtown Boulder, up Boulder Canyon, and up up up Four Mile Canyon to Switzlerland Trail. We'll spend the night camping near Mount Alto Picnic Area then wake up bright and early to grab a bite to eat in Gold Hill. After that, we'll bike down Sunshine Canyon to get back to town and end right where we started. The route is a mix of bike path, paved roads, jeep roads, and gravel. The first day will be a steady climb up to camp abd the second day will be a long descent back into town.
There will be multiple pace groups and re-group points. This is a no-drop ride.
NOTE: This is not a beginner bikepacking trip due to the large amount of climbing and technical terrain! If you want to join but don't like this route, you're welcome to drive up and camp, or ride a route that feels better for you.
Difficulty: Moderate -- for people comfortable with sustained climbing, technical/chunky trail, and long descents.

Appropriate Bike: Any gravel bike, rigid mtb, or ATB that can carry all of your gear. We suggest 42mm tires (at minimum) to be the most comfortable riding on Switzerland Trail.
Rider Expectations:
Bring warm layers! We will be riding to and camping close to 9,000ft. Temperatures will vary.
Ride leaves promptly at 1:00pm. Please show up early and ready to go!
The route is varied: be prepared for steady climbing, some technical terrain on an unmaintained forest road, several moderate/steep descents, and a mix of road/gravel.

No bikepacking experience needed—just bring your questions and your sense of adventure!

Yeehaw Kickoff Ride
Come kick off the season with Yeehaw Giddyup and the Treehouse crew!
Bring your bike fully loaded to test it out for the bikepacking season, or just bring a bike to ride. We’ll start with a chill gravel ride around the Boulder Reservoir area, and end with some happy hour snacks and bevs.

Strawberry Moon Denim Ride
Grab your jorts, top off your sealant, and roll up to Treehouse Cyclery on June 11 for a one of a kind, evening group ride under the Strawberry Moon with Ripton, Treehouse Cyclery, and Teravail. This will be a social, party-pace, no-drop ride on mixed surfaces with about 20 miles to meet some new friends. We'll plan to roll out around 8:45pm, and hope to see you there! We’re switching things up this month and taking a lil field trip to Boulder to ride with our friends at Cassiopeia — a new women-owned cycling cafe and retail store!
For our last group ride of the year we wanted to celebrate another woman-led bike space opening in the Front Range and get on some dirt! The ride will be led by the Cassiopeia crew and is mostly pavement with a short gravel section. We’ll be going up and over Old Stage, so get ready for some climbing!
All people and paces are welcome! There will be multiple regroups and a sweep.

Who? Anyone and everyone! Whether you are a coffee outside regular or have never participated before, we invite you to attend one of the hosted meetups…or you can host your own ☕.
What? Ride to the designated location at the specified time and make coffee with friends. It's that simple. Hosts in cities across the globe will be organizing meetups and giving out prize packages to lucky winners.

Adventure Rides is a beginner-friendly workshop designed to provide information and education about essential bike travel skills and build community. It's a program of Adventure Cycling, a national nonprofit that inspires and empowers people to travel by bicycle.
Here's what Adventure Cycling will provide to riders for the overnight portion of the workshop:

Group: stove, bear safety, dinner, breakfast, snacks
